Gaybourhood East is a volunteer-led, not for profit community driven project, to bring together East London’s LGBTIQA+ parents & their children to socialise, dance and organise family friendly events.
Gaybourhood East was set up to provide a social space for queer families in London. Since 2023 we have been running monthly events at the Trades Hall in Walthamstow.
Gaybourhood East is entirely run by volunteer queer parents. It’s a relaxed and fully inclusive space and we welcome different family types and children of all ages.
Gaybourhood East exists with your support, both in attending the events and helping with run an activity at an event or leading on organising an event. Have a theme in mind? Get in touch!
LGBTIQA+ is used universally and stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, questioning/queer, asexual/allies, plus.
