Get ready to ‘Strip the Willow’ and ‘Gay Gordons’ your way around the dance floor at this inclusive family ceilidh led by Gaybourhood East and Wee Movers (east-London children’s dance classes).
What to expect: Scottish ceilidh but with a strong east London queer family twist. All dances are gender-free and you will be guided through each dance – no experience required. Expect toe-tapping, big smiles, shortbread (yum) and lots of fun. Spin your partner round!
Venue: Walthamstow Trades Hall, with bar

Gaybourhood East is a friendly social space for queer families with kids of all ages, run by volunteer queer parents. The Trades Hall is a queer friendly community space, just 10 mins from Walthamstow Central. Great music, cheap bar, soft play, pool table, board games, loads of space to run around and 20% discount on Yard Sale Pizza next door for Trade Hall members. Everyone welcome – including dogs!
