Celebrating queer families with a fun-filled Family Pride extravaganza, hosted by the fabulous Scarlet Diamonte! Part-funded by the Waltham Forest Pride Collective as part of the Waltham Forest Pride Programme
What to expect: An afternoon of colour, creativity and celebration as families take part in dress-up and costume making, pose/vogue/catwalk moments, dancing, and joyful sing-along. Whether you’re taking part or cheering from the sidelines, it’s the perfect opportunity for the House of Gaybourhood East to come together and enjoy a vibrant, inclusive community pride gathering for queer families with kids of all ages. Supporter and Costume Lecturer Rachel and her students from Guildhall School of Music and Drama will bring materials and help make fierce family costumes (from 1pm). Please also bring along rainbow/sparkly fancy dress or costume materials if you like.
