Gaybourhood East invite all ghouls and goblins to our Halloween Party for LGBTQIA+ parents and their little monsters on SATURDAY 17th Oct 1pm to 4pm.
A friendly Halloween social for queer families with kids of all ages!
Come along for an afternoon of spooky fun, creativity, dancing and community at Walthamstow Trades Hall. Dress up in your best Halloween fancy dress and bring the whole family. There’ll be plenty to do for little monsters, big monsters and grown up monsters too!
👻 What’s happening?
🎨 Halloween Craft Table
Decorate your very own trick or treat bag and make a spooky paper plate monster to take home.
👹 Monster Games & Dancing
Get your monster moves ready! We’ll have ghoulish Halloween games on the dance floor, including Ghoul Statues and other games designed to get children, parents and everyone in between up and dancing.
🌈 A Collective Poem to Queer Ancestors
A special moment to remember and celebrate the queer people and communities who came before us, making space for the lives, loves and possibilities that we have today.
🧟 Halloween Fancy Dress Parade
Strut across the dancefloor and show off your fabulous fancy dress! There’ll be lots of fun categories to celebrate everyone’s creativity. No winners or losers, just a chance to have some fun together. Everyone who takes part will receive a Halloween treat to put for their decorated trick-or-treat bag to take home.
🎃 Come dressed up!
Whether you’re a witch, monster, ghost, superhere, vampire, fairy, fabulous creature or something entirely your own, we want to see your best Halloween fancy dress.
