“The Glamorous Grandmas” Author Reading

“Join us after the summer break for a *book reading hosted by Jodie Lancet-Grant*!
She is an author of LGBTQ+ inclusive books for families, and a queer parent herself.  📙🌈
Jodie will be presenting her latest book, *’The Glamorous Grandmas’!*
Jodie kindly hosts an annual book reading for Gaybourhood East, it’s a lovely way to start the new year. Past readings include her debut *’The Pirate Mums’* which made history as the first book featuring a two-mum family to be broadcast as a CBeebies bedtime story (read by Sue Perkins). Jodie has appeared on media outlets ranging from BBC Radio 2 to Newsround talking about the importance of queer representation in children’s culture.
Please note on this occasion the Trades Hall have asked us to move to the *smaller upstairs venue* due to a scheduling requirement. Parents are still welcome to store prams downstairs.
